I have considerable experience teaching music and singing to a wide range of ages and experience, from complete beginners to professional singers.  Private one to one lessons still remain my firm favourite in getting the best results teaching singing and in vocal coaching.  I particularly enjoy educational workshops with an emphasis on movement and drama in singing.

As a professional Classical/Opera Singer, I perform regularly on the stage and concert platform and feel the particular skills involved, allow me an added passion and enthusiasm for the teaching environment, whether it be one to one or group work.

At all stages in my career I have been involved in teaching, both privately and for organisations. I have taught singing and music in primary, secondary and third level education also in theatre schools, for London music agencies and also to the business community in central London.

I am a member of Equity and have been C.R.B./D.B.S. checked regularly throughout my teaching career and have a current Access Northern Ireland Enhanced Disclosure Certificate, a Safe-guarding Trust Certificate and an up-to-date Data Protection Certificate.

I use a number of musical instruments when teaching in education including Guitar and Piano.

I taught regularly in London schools for some years delivering the music National curriculum and more recently was a Music teacher in a French/English Bilingual school in London. I am currently teaching singing at Methodist College Belfast.

I particularly enjoy music in education and have some considerable experience and love of working with children with special needs, autism, A.D.H.D and other behavioural problems.

I teach and coach on-line with Zoom which has proven to be very popular and most useful to some students with the additional option to record sessions.

I have considerable experience programming, producing and directing Concerts and Galas in the professional singing world and preparing singers for auditions and performances.
